The origins of Murray Feiss lamps and lighting fixtures goes all the way back to the Old World because both founders were children when they came to the United States as immigrants. The beginning of the company itself dates all the way back to World War II when the wife began sewing lampshades in the kitchen while the father was making the bases in the factory.

After the war, they started importing interesting figurines and converting them into decorative table and desk lamps. The finished decorative lamps became popular with the post World War II crowd which is why Murray Feiss is one of the largest manufacturers of lamps and light fixtures.

Today, Murray Feiss employs over 3,000 people and leads the industry in every conceivable way.
