Bob Cooper and his wife Belle founded Uttermost lighting in 1975 and the company remains 100% in the family. While the company certainly had humble beginnings in a small facility and only a handful of employees, Uttermost light fixtures and home furnishings are now manufactured in a state-of-the-art 600,000 square foot facility and employs nearly 300 people. To enhance customer service and significantly reduce shipping time, Uttermost opened a new West Coast Distribution Center in May of 2006.

In addition to lighting fixtures, Uttermost also produces a wide of assortment of quality home furnishings including: mirrors, art, metal wall art, and even clocks. However, as it was in the beginning, the primary focus of Uttermost remains on its lighting fixtures. Still family owned and committed to producing only quality-made, innovative light fixtures, Uttermost may have had humble beginnings but it certainly has a very bright future indeed!
